Marvel mogul Stan Lee has filed a lawsuit against his former publicist for multiple offences.

The lawsuit, which you can see here, details the alleged crimes committed by Jerry Olivarez, who is Lee’s former publicist and someone who’s been “closely involved” in his personal affairs.

The suit states that on top of taking $1.4 million dollars from Lee’s personal accounts, which he used to buy a condo in West Hollywood, Olivarez is also accused of writing himself into Lee’s will, stealing both jewelry and cash, and investing money into a scam tie business.

Perhaps the most disturbing of the accusations is the fradulent charity, “Hands of Respect,” that Olivarez allegedly created. The charity sold comic books that were “stamped with Lee’s blood.” The charity’s website claimed that this was with Lee’s “full support,” which Lee has since insisted is false.

Olivarez has yet to comment on the lawsuit, but in an interview with THR on April 10 about similar claims, he stated the following:

“Mr. Lee told me I had given him a new lease on life after Mrs. Lee’s passing. I had looked out for him during recent contract negotiations with “Pow!”. He gave me a check as a thank you.”
