Lee went on ABC News 7’s Eyewitness News to reassure fans that he was feeling much better, that the hospital stay had done him well, and that he was home and “looking for new trouble to get into.” He also went on to joke that the hospital stay was also good because it got him a pretty sizable amount of publicity, and he was surprised to hear how many people cared that the comic book legend had been hospitalized.

It sounded like Lee was in good spirits in the interview. He joked about his hopes that the world knows how much it owes him for all he does, but then got sincere and said he plans to keep doing his work for Marvel as long as he can. Just prior to his hospitalization, Lee had been seen at the epic Black Panther premiere, celebrating the big-screen adaptaion of a character he helped create.

We’re happy to hear that Stan Lee is feeling better, and we’re glad that he’s ready to keep doing awesome things with the MCU. And with such a big year ahead for Marvel, it seems like this will be a pretty exciting year for Lee.
