After tickets to the two real-life stagings of fictional musical Hit List from Smash sold out, 54 Below has added a third performance.

Hit List will now be performed on Sunday, December 8, at 11:30 p.m. As previously announced, Smash stars Jeremy Jordan, Andy Mientus, and Krysta Rodriguez will star in the show; Katherine McPhee, who was the star on Smash, will not.

Unlike the two performances on December 9 (which sold out in an hour), this one will cost $75, along with an additional $25 for food and beverage minimum. That’s a $20 increase from the December 9 performances. At $100 cost, Hit List will now cost more to attend than most real Broadway shows.

There was apparently a wait-list for tickets, and not even the entire wait-list may be accommodated by 54 Below. The odds of any of us getting tickets – even if we are willing and able to pay that price – seem slim to none. We’ll just have to hope they keep adding performances. Since there is such a large demand, it might make sense to stage a legitimate off-Broadway run of Hit List. Hopefully all of the people involved realize that, and allow us to see Hit List in real life!

Do you want to see Hit List on Broadway? Would you be willing to pay $100 for it?
