Check out the full list of award winners, announcements and trailers revealed at last night’s Spike TV Video Game Awards 2012 including Bioshock InfiniteThe Last of Us and Dark Souls 2.

The newest trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth was unveiled first, detailing the game’s story. After the Stick of Truth is stolen by elves, Grand Wizard Cartman, Warrior Stan, Paladin Butters, Princess Kenny and High Jew Elf Kyle must get it back.

South Park: The Stick of Truth – World Premiere… by SpieleReportDE

Unfortunately, the trailer for South Park, as well as most of the other games revealed, have been taken down, though you can still see them all at the VGAs official site. We will update this post as soon as the trailers are available.

The lone new IP announced at the VGAs was The Phantom Pain developed by Moby Game Studios, though there is strong evidence that points to the reveal actually being from Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, or something similar including the main character bearing a strong resemblance to Snake from the MGS series.

A new trailer for Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic action adventure, The Last of Us, also premiered last night along with a release date of May 7, 2013.

One of the biggest surprises of the night was the announcement of Dark Souls 2, which developer From Software has confirmed is being developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

A trailer for Halo 4‘s Spartan Ops episodic co-op mode shown revealed it will return Jan. 21, 2013.

New footage from Square Enix’s Tomb Raider featured a sample of the transformation Lara will undergo throughout the game accompanied by a live orchestra.

A new trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 also debuted at the VGAs, narrated by a vengeful Dracula.

The first DLC for Assassin’s Creed III, called The Tyranny of King Washington, was officially revealed with a brief look at the alternate history players will be able to experience.

Gears of War: Judgement, the series prequel being developed by People Can Fly and Epic Games, was also at the event with plenty of Locust shooting shown in the trailer.

Finally, new footage from the the freshly-delayed (again) Bioshock Infinite was debuted featuring the game’s combat.
