The first Spider-Man movie owned by Disney’s Marvel has cast Community co-star Donald Glover.

“Details of Glover’s character are being kept secret,” reports THR, but the site reminds us there was once a campaign for the actor to play Spidey in Sony’s Amazing Spider-Man series. Glover himself was on board with the idea and joined in on the campaigning fun (remember “#DonaldForSpiderMan”?), but obviously it was Andrew Garfield who ended up with the role.

Glover, who’s also known for roles in Magic Mike XXL and The Martian, joins Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei (Peter Parker’s mom), Michael Keaton (the villain), and Zendaya (the female lead). Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. will also appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which hits theaters next year.

Homecoming is expected to begin shooting this month, and plot details are still scarce. Hopefully, once the movie starts filming, Disney will unveil a few teases about what will be happening in the not-an-origin story.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was first introduced in last month’s Captain America: Civil War.
