Everyone’s friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man is heading abroad in the new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

After what seemed like eons of teases, hints, and Tom Holland’s notorious inability to keep Marvel secrets, we finally have our first official look at Spider-Man: Far From Home. The newly-released trailer shows us Peter Parker headed out to Europe on a school trip, and though he wants it to just be a fun time with his classmates, his responsibilities as Spider-Man soon catch up with him.

Of course, the big news here is that Peter Parker is back in his fully human form and not the pile of dust we last saw at the end of Infinity War. While most of us were pretty positive that Thanos’ snap wouldn’t permanently kill the MCU’s newer (and incredibly popular) heroes like Holland’s Spider-Man, we couldn’t be sure. However, this trailer not only seems to show us that Peter Parker was restored but also Nick Fury as well.

In addition to teasing a bright future for the MCU, despite Infinity War leaving us in a super dark place, the Far From Home trailer also introduces us to the film’s new villain, Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. The details of his character have been kept under wraps for some time, but we get a taste of the intense power he’ll be bringing to the MCU in the trailer. Spider-Man will certainly have his work cut out for him with this new villain.

Marvel also tweeted out a look at the Far From Home poster, and we’re pretty much obsessed with it.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long for this one to release. We’ll see how the Avengers restore the world in Avengers: Endgame in April of 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home will swing into theaters on July 5.
