Spider-Man: Far From Home released a brand new trailer, and it shows Peter Parker struggling to rediscover his new normal after Endgame.

Tom Holland warns you at the beginning of the trailer, but I’m going to warn you too. The Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer (and this article) contains major spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so don’t watch and stop reading now if you haven’t seen the movie yet!

Many of us are still reeling from the emotional toll that Avengers: Endgame took, but happily, Peter Parker is here to lighten things up a bit, right? Well, as it turns out, Peter is also still reeling from the events of Endgame (seriously, this is your last spoiler warning) in the new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Peter Parker’s been through some THINGS, y’all. First he was snapped out of existence by Thanos, then restored by Tony Stark, and then he suffered the tragic loss of Tony Stark, his friend and mentor.

Obviously, it’s a lot for a high school kid to handle, especially while he’s also trying to do his best to be the “friendly neighborhood Spider-Man,” protecting his hometown from bad guys. However, with Iron Man gone, the world is in need of another big hero like him, and Peter can’t help but wonder if he needs to step up and fill Tony’s shoes.

When he receives a call from Nick Fury, Peter decides to put those big, life-altering decisions of hero-ing aside for a school trip to Europe. Unsurprisingly, Fury finds Peter and enlists him in a fight against some massive, intergalactic foes.

With Tony Stark dead and the reality of a multiverse filled with evil and bad guys waiting to destroy whatever lies in front of them, who will save humanity and the earth at large? It’s time for Peter Parker to step up and become the hero we all know he can be, all while keeping his friends safe and maybe telling M.J. how he feels.

Things are about to get complicated! We’ll see how Peter handles life without Iron Man and his increased role as a protector of the earth when Spider-Man: Far From Home opens in movie theaters everywhere July 2. Tickets are on sale now!
