Wednesday’s new episode of South Park looks to be a treat, literally, as the South Park Elementary boys go trick-or-treating as characters from The Avengers.
In a preview clip viewable below, the four boys visit a neighbor’s home, but the adult has a difficult time figuring out who Cartman dressed up as. Stan is trick-or-treating from a different location, but is with the boys thanks to Apple’s iPad and FaceTime.
Says the official episode description: “The boys are all ready to dress up as their favorite foursome, the Avengers, for Halloween. After months of planning their costumes, at the last minute Randy tells Stan he can’t go trick or treating with his friends. Instead, Stan has to pitch in and help his father with a new business venture.”
South Park episode 1612, “A Nightmare on Factime,” airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. This storyline is looking to be one of our favorite pop culture references out of South Park in recent memory, and we’re happy to see the writers messing with Apple again. The last time they took on Apple was with the “HUMANCENTiPAD” which aired in 2011. If you miss its airing on Comedy Central, you can visit SouthParkStudios.com after its television premiere to watch for free online.
