NAMCO Bandai has revealed that Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Auditore da Firenze will be a featured fighter in the upcoming Soulcalibur V. Just how soon is it coming? They announced that as well.
Soulcalibur V will release January 31, 2012 in North America for the PS3 and Xbox 360. A Collector’s Edition was also announced for the game that will include a soundtrack CD, behind the scenes videos, an art book and downloadable character armor.
Ezio seems to make sense as a guest character, especially when compared to previous fighters such as Yoda and Darth Vader. His double blades, along with the rest of his assassin tools, will fit in nicely in the blade centric fighter. You can view the game’s latest trailer below.
