Sony announced a slew of release dates for several upcoming films on Wednesday, revealing that several interesting projects are moving steadily through development.

One of the most notable projects in this slate is a new take on Jumanji. Reports surfaced in 2012 that a project was in development, and now the new Jumanji is slated for a release on December 25, 2016. The original was released in 1995 and starred Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, and Bonnie Hunt.

One week before the new Jumanji Sony will release Passengers, a new romance starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence (enough said).

Sony will also be adapting Stephen King’s The Dark Tower which will open January 13, 2017.

The live-action Barbie — word of which first surfaced in April 2014 — now has a release date as well: June 2, 2017. An actress has not been chosen for the lead role yet.

There’s also good news for fans of the Bad Boys films: Two new films are in development and slated for releases in February 2017 and July 2019. The last one starred Martin Lawrence and Will Smith and opened in 1995.

Finally, the female-driven Ghostbusters starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon has moved up one week to July 15, 2016.

These films join previously announced projects including the animated Spider-Man which is due out in July 2018.
