Before we say goodbye to summer 2017 and trade it in for pumpkin season, let’s take a final moment to fully appreciate our favorite music from the hottest months of the year. Did Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” keep you dancing all summer long? Were you more into the vibe of driving to “Body like a Back Road,” by Sam Hunt? Were you moved by Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble?”
To figure out what the true song of the summer was for 2017, we’re asking you to rank some of the best songs that this summer had to offer. Sure, “Despacito” dominated the charts this summer, but there are plenty of other great contenders that were blasting through speakers, all summer long.
The criteria to be included in the ranking was that the song had to be featured in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 between June 2017 and August 2017. Sorry, Swifties, “Look What You Made Me Do” didn’t quite make the cut, this year.
