Four talented dancers will be going home this week, as we find out who makes it into season 11’s top 10.
After last week’s tough eliminations, the field has been narrowed to 14 dancers. And this is sure to be an even more upsetting week, because we will be losing four talented dancers, over one-third of the remaining contestants. Season 11’s top 10 will be revealed tonight, but all the remaining dancers are so talented, it will be terrible to see any of them go home.
As a reminder, unlike the last few seasons, there will only be one winner for season 11. That winner will receive $250,000, an appearance on the cover of Dance Spirit magazine, and a role in the Broadway musical revival of On The Town.
There will be a bit of a change in the guard this week, as ballerina Misty Copeland will no longer be on the judging panel, after three straight weeks of taking her place beside executive producer Nigel Lythgoe and ballroom expert Mary Murphy. No news yet who this week’s judge will be, but hopefully it will be one of our favorite celebrity judges from past seasons, and not crazy Paula Abdul.
