Saturday will mark Tina Fey’s 4th time hosting Saturday Night Live. She previously hosted in 2008 with musical guest Carrie Underwood, in 2010 with musical guest Justin Bieber, and in 2012 with musical guest Ellie Goulding.
No word on what recurring characters Tina may be bringing to Studio 8H this Saturday, or if she’ll return to the Weekend Update desk as she has in the past.
Recently, Saturday Night Live announced some dramatic new changes to the show including a whole slew of new cast members. Also announced is that Cecily Strong will be joining Seth Meyers at the Weekend Update desk this season.
On tap for the next couple of episodes of Saturday Night Live are Miley Cyrus who will be both host and musical guest on the October 5th episode, as well as Bruce Willis and Katy Perry scheduled for Saturday Night Live’s October 12th episode.
