Anna Kendrick is making her SNL debut this week when she hosts for the first time with musical guest Pharrell. Check out her promo videos with current cast member Taran Killam.
In the video, posted on SNL’s official YouTube account, there are a couple of awkward moments with Anna, who seems to not know the name of the show, when it airs, or the fact that it’s live. Taran Killam helps her understand with a tiny bit of screaming.
There’s also just a lot of singing and harmonizing.
Anna Kendrick may be best known for her role in Pitch Perfect where she performed the song “Cups.” The song went on to become a Hot 100 hit and lead to many viral videos of fans learning the song and choreography.
Pharrell also makes his SNL debut this week after his string of hits in the last few years. Pharrell also made headlines (without having to do anything) for his oblong hat that has been compared to the hat used in the Arby’s logo. This set off trending conversations on social media throughout award season early in 2014.

Next week, Seth Rogen will return to Studio 8H to host SNL. Given his recent headlines with pal James Franco, we have to assume he will show up in some capacity right?
