Mark your calendars because it’s all about girl power on SNL later this month, with Ronda Rousey and Selena Gomez making their debuts!
SNL just announced that UFC fighter Ronda Rousey will host on January 23. Rousey is a superstar for her UFC career and most notably lost a fight for the first time to Holly Holm back in November of last year.
Additionally, Selena Gomez will make her SNL debut as a musical guest on January 23 along with Rousey as host.
Rousey will have a chance to prove her comedic skills when she hits the stage at Studio 8H. However, she will be comfortable in front of the camera having had parts in such movies as The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and the Entourage movie.
Girls and Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Adam Driver will host on January 16 when it returns for the second half of its season. Musician Chris Stapleton will be the musical guest for that episode.
SNL closed out 2015 with a bang, with alumni Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting alongside musical guest Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. There were also cameos by alum Maya Rudolph and music legend Paul McCartney. Check out the highlights from that episode right here.
