Last night Tom Hanks hosted SNL for the ninth time along with musical guest Lady Gaga. Check out some of the highlights from the show.
Cold Open
SNL continued with its politically themed cold opens this week. This time, host Tom Hanks portrayed Fox News’ Chris Wallace as the presidential debate moderator. As expected, Alec Baldwin returned as Donald Trump and Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton.
Opening Monologue
In the opening monologue, Hanks spoke to the American people as “America’s Dad.”
Keenan Thompson reprised his role as the host of Black Jeopardy, which featured Tom Hanks playing Doug, a white Trump supporter who the host ends up agreeing with on a few occasions.
Tom Hanks played an unknown Halloween character called David S. Pumpkins in a Halloween ride. Check out the hilarious character that hopefully people will be dressing up as this year!
Cecily Strong reprised her amazing character Girl You Wish You Never Started a Conversation With at a Party to talk about the upcoming election.
Lady Gaga performs
