Peter Dinklage hosted SNL for the first time with musical guest Gwen Stefani. Check out some of the highlights from the episode.

The cold open to the episode featured more political commentary. In the sketch, Cecily Strong played a woman who was defending some of Donald Trump’s latest atrocious comments – this time about women.

The first digital sketch of the night featured Dinklage participating in the celebrity edition of the show “Naked and Afraid.” As if that weren’t enough to keep you laughing, he was paired up with Leslie Jones. The two make for quite the odd couple in what was certainly the highlight of the episode.

Gwen Stefani joined Peter Dinklage for a sketch where he played a pop star with “space pants” that was interrupting a rather tense and serious mafia meeting.

In one of the more hilarious sketches of the night, Peter Dinklage portrayed his Game of Thrones character in a “sneak peek” of the upcoming sixth season. However, in this sneak peek, Bobby Moynihan plays a dragon who just doesn’t quite know how to be a dragon. Game of Thrones fans will love this!

In one of the later sketches from the episode, Dinklage and Cecily Strong portrayed a couple who got an undersea hotel suite. However, things go a bit astray when Taran Killam portrays a dead body that continually smashes up against the window.

Gwen Stefani proved that she’s still got it, despite a decade separating her and her last album. She performed “Made Me Like You” and “Misery.” Check them out below.

Next week on April 9, Russell Crowe will host SNL along with musical guest Margo Price. The following week on April 16, Veep’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus will host along with musical guest Nick Jonas.
