This week Emily Blunt hosted SNL with musical guest Bruno Mars.

This week’s cold open featured another spoof of the most recent Presidential debate. The spoofs that feature Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump and Kate McKinnon were once again a hit. This time SNL capitalized on the popularity of Ken Bone, a real man who asked a question during the debate. Check out the cold open below.

For Emily Blunt’s opening monologue, it was all about being happy amidst all the negative political energy. Watch as Emily Blunt gives away puppies and cakes to the audience!

The first digital sketch of the night featured Cecily Strong as Melania Trump spoofing Beyoncé. Check out the “Melanianade” sketch below.

Another digital sketch included the ladies of SNL excited for a new line of unique clothing with a name that doesn’t quite sound right.

Bruno Mars performed the songs “24K Magic” and “Chunky” as well. In his first performance, Bruno Mars entered the studio from off-stage, giving the audience a different perspective for a musical performance. These videos are currently unable to be embedded but check them out on NBC.com.

Next week on SNL

Next week Tom Hanks will host SNL along with musical guest Lady Gaga, whose new album Joanne will be released the day before on Friday, October 21.
