Last night Elizabeth Banks hosted SNL with musical guest Disclosure. The episode also featured a special cold open addressing the tragedy in Paris.

The show’s cold open included Cecily Strong giving a message of support to the recent tragedy in Paris in both English and French. Watch the moving tribute below.

Elizabeth Banks then began the show with an opening monologue in a beautiful gown and a karaoke performance that showed off her incredible directing abilities after directing Pitch Perfect 2!

The first digital sketch of the night featured a commercial for Aron’s List, which turns out to be the American Registry Of Nonviolent Sex Offenders.

In the first sketch of the night, “Black Jeopardy,” Elizabeth Banks played a white girl named Allison who is on the show because she once dated a black guy.

The women of SNL and Elizabeth Banks did another digital sketch, this time to “First Got Horny 2 U,” in which they reminisce about the weird pop culture characters they first became, well, interested in!

In another sketch, Jay Pharoah channelled his spot-on impressions again, this time as a young Ben Carson in “The Adventures of Young Ben Carson.”

Elizabeth Banks continued with her perfect portrayal of a stereotypical white girl in a sketch where she actually lived in a “ghetto” but didn’t quite realize it.

Disclosure performed with Lorde and Sam Smith tonight. Check out the performances below:

Next week is a monster of an episode with host Matthew McConaughey and music superstar Adele.
