Drake returned as host and musical guest of SNL for the second time in his career, and it was pretty hilarious.

In his opening monologue, Drake performed a song he sang to everyone saying that the only reason that anyone really likes him is because they get to use him in memes. And it’s true, Drake gets used in memes a lot these days. Check out the hilarious opening monologue below.

In the first sketch of the night, Drake really showed his comedic timing the best with his portrayal of an oblivious and unbothered car rental salesmen. The sketch also featured Jay Pharoah which is always a good thing.

In a pre-taped sketch, Drake may have been at his funniest, as it featured his apparent beef with the cast that he thought were his best friends. The sketch jumps in and out from situations to the song he wrote about it — which may be art mimicking life mimicking art if you know some of the drama surrounding Drake’s personal life!

With Drake in the house, it was the perfect time to goof on him for Black Jeopardy, a recurring sketch that always highlights stereotypes. Drake played along as a black Canadian who had some of the best responses throughout.

Drake stayed busy the entire night as the musical guest as well. Check out his performances of “Hype” and the No.1 song in the country right now, “One Dance” from his new album Views which is also the No.1 album in the country.

Although Drake remained strong and comedic in this episode, the sketches seemed a little soft compared to his first time around on SNL. Either way, it left us wanting to be best friends with Drake.

Next week, SNL alum, Fred Armisen will host the season finale along with musical guest Courtney Barnett.
