Last night, leading Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump hosted SNL with musical guest Sia. Check out some of the highlights from the episode.

The cold open for last night’s episode began with a spoof of MSNBC’s Democratic Candidates Forum, which featured Kate McKinnon’s hilarious version of Hillary Clinton and Larry David returning with his impression of Bernie Sanders.

Donald Trump’s opening monologue was short and to the point featuring Taran Killam and Darrell Hammond returning with their great impressions of him.

The first sketch of the night featured a flash forward to a Donald Trump Presidency in 2018. “Everyone is loving the new laws you tweeted,” says Bobby Moynihan’s character. It also features Omarosa as Secretary of State. The sketch also featured Donald Trump breaking the fourth wall and speaking directly to the camera.

In the next sketch of the night, Trump again broke the fourth wall saying that he is not a part of the sketch but that he would be live tweeting it. Though the tweets didn’t actually go live on his actual Twitter account, his faux tweets appeared on screen during the sketch.

In one of the video sketches, Jay Pharoah parodied Drake’s “Hotline Bling” with Donald Trump and a random surprise cameo by Martin Short.

Sia performed two of her songs from her upcoming album This Is Acting, which is set to be released in January of next year. Check out “Alive” and “Bird Set Free” below!

Overall, despite the controversy surrounding Trump hosting the show, Trump managed to find a sense of humor and did a great job as a host. Let’s not forget his established experience on television.

Next week Elizabeth Banks will host SNL with musical guest Disclosure.
