Last night Chris Hemsworth hosted SNL with musical guest Zac Brown Band. Check out our recap of some of the highlights from the episode.

Kate McKinnon opened the episode playing Hillary Clinton as she responded to the recent controversy surrounding a personal e-mail account that was used for professional correspondence. This sketch is important because it shows that McKinnon will be portraying Clinton throughout her presidential run over the next year! It should be noted that this was one of the stronger political cold opens the show has seen this season. Check it out:

Chris Hemsworth opened the show as host with a couple of familiar faces: his brother Liam, Luke and Kenan Thompson portraying a Hemsworth. Obviously that didn’t quite go as planned.

Taran Killam joined up with Hemsworth in the first sketch of the night which was a spoof of a Disney show where they played two brothers, where one of them is just a little bit different than the other.

In another sketch, Hemsworth was a crew member in a space ship that was led by a chicken named Emily. The random situation actually turned out to be hilarious.

Kate McKinnon played Iggy Azalea in the hilarious sketch The Iggy Azalea Show.

In a local news cast, Bobby Moynihan had a chance to interview Thor right after he and the Avengers defeated Ultron. It also features Taran Killam playing Iron Man, Pete Davidson playing Bruce Banner, Jay Pharoah as Nick Fury, and Beck Bennett as Captain America.

Finally, everyone’s favorite porn stars-turned-saleswomen were back to sell perfume!

Hemsworth proved to not only have the acting chops, but his comedic timing was great in every sketch making him one of the better hosts SNL has seen in its historic 40th season.
