Lena Dunham will make her debut as host of Saturday Night Live this weekend after three seasons of her hit show Girls has aired on HBO. Dunham is the star, writer and director of the hit series which airs Sunday nights at 10/9c. Dunham has exclaimed her excitement about hosting SNL on her Twitter account.
This weekend will also mark the first time the band, The National, will perform on Saturday Night Live, which is coincidentally one of Lena Dunham’s favorite bands. Considering all of the hype around Girls and Lena Dunham herself, there are high hopes for her to deliver some comedic gems this weekend when she makes her debut as SNL host.
