Actor John Goodman hosted SNL last night for the 13th time and brought along some friends by the name of Sylvester Stalone and Robert DeNiro as well! Check out our recap with some videos from last night’s episode.

Only 2 other people have hosted Saturday Night Live more times than John Goodman has: Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. That’s some pretty good company to be in. The episode’s cold opened played to the controvery surroudning President Obama’s “Selfie-gate” which occured during his trip to Africa to pay respects to recently departed Nelson Mandela. In a digital short, Bobby Moynihan played a spot-on impression of Guy Fieri who was apparently promoting his Christmas special which included Aidy Bryant as Mimi from The Drew Carey Show, among other hilarious characters and impressions. Check it out here:

It wouldn’t be the holidays for us without our beloved Weekend Update staple Drunk Uncle. This time, Drunk Uncle brought along his own uncle: Drunker Uncle.

In what was probably one of the most peculiar sketches of the night, Kate McKinnon and John Goodman played awkward people at a bar that were willing to make out and be disgusting at whatever cost it took. Check out the awkward scenario below:

Vampire Weekend also played the song “Wait For Me” as their second performance of the night.

Finally, John Goodman, Sylvester Stalone and Robert DeNiro played hilarious New Jersey versions of the three wise men, this time calling themselves the Three Wise Guys. The audience was captivated by the stereotypes:

Next week will surely be one not to miss as Jimmy Fallon returns to host SNL with musical guest and friend Justin Timberlake. Fallon has become somewhat of a legend in his own right when it comes to hosting SNL, and will surely bring the goods for the final episode of 2013.
