Matthew McConaughey will return to host SNL in November alongside Adele.

Matthew McConaughey returns to Studio 8H in New York City to host Saturday Night Live for the first time in over a decade on November 21. The Oscar winner has just finished production on his latest project, titled “Free State of Jones and Gold.” The last time McConaughey hosted Saturday Night Live was February 3, 2003 along with musical guest The Dixie Chicks.

Joining McConaughey in November will be musical guest Adele, whose new album 25 will be released the day before on November 20. Adele has made a huge impact with her first single, “Hello” in the last week with fans and critics alike ushering in her return to music. 25 is one of the most highly-anticipated albums of the year following Adele’s incredibly successful last album 21, which has sold over 30 million copies.

Although Adele is best known for her emotional music, the British singer actually has a notable sense of humor. It would be great to see her be incorporated into some of the sketches, particularly with Aidy Bryant’s spot-on impression.

Saturday Night Live will return with new episodes on November 7 with host and Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump along with musical guest Sia. Following that episode, Elizabeth Banks will host on November 14 with musical guest Disclosure.
