NBC today announced that actress Christina Applegate will host an October episode of Saturday Night Live featuring musical guest Passion Pitt.
The team’s episode will air live Saturday, October 13. Applegate currently stars in NBC’s half-hour comedy Up All Night and will star in Anchorman 2 next year. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars will both host and perform on the October 20 episode. He’ll likely be promoting his new single “Locked Out of Heaven” (debuting today) and his new album Unorthodox Jukebox, out in December.
This Saturday’s episode will be hosted by Skyfall’s Daniel Craig and musical guest Muse.
