Tonight it’s a British invasion on SNL when Andrew Garfield will host alongside musical guest Coldplay. Check out what you can expect from tonight’s blockbuster episode.
Tonight will mark the first time Andrew Garfield hosts SNL. Garfield is currently starring in the Marvel blockbuster The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Coldplay will make their fifth appearance as musical guest on SNL. Ironically, the last time the band got together at Studio 8H was when Emma Stone, now-girlfriend of Andrew Garfield, hosted in 2011.
Coldplay’s new album Ghost Stories hits shelves and digital download on May 19. Coldplay has also been in the news lately because frontman Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow have announced their separation after being together for over 10 years.

Given that Emma Stone is a friend of the show, Garfield’s girlfriend, and stars in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as well, we expect at least some sort of cameo.

It was also recently announced that Charlize Theron and SNL alum Andy Samberg will round out the final two episodes of Saturday Night Live this month. Joining them as musical guests are The Black Keys (with Theron) and St. Vincent (with Samberg). Samberg recently won a Golden Globe for his performance on the Fox comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
