May the Force of comedy be with Adam Driver as he takes to the SNL stage in 2020.

When Saturday Night Live returns on January 25, 2020, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’s Adam Driver will be taking the stage as host. He will be leading the episode along with musical guest Halsey.

The news was announced following Saturday night’s mid-season finale, which was hosted by SNL alum Eddie Murphy with musical guest Lizzo. It was also shared on the official SNL Twitter account.

The first time Adam Driver hosted the iconic sketch comedy show was in January 2016, following the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The episode featured one of the show’s most referenced sketches of the recent era, which followed Kylo Ren on an episode Undercover Boss. Check out the hilarious sketch below!

Driver also hosted the SNL season 44 premiere in September 2018, making this his third appearance on the show. Let’s hope for some more great Star Wars sketches in 2020. Maybe featuring baby Yoda?! We can also totally picture a Marriage Story parody sketch with Halsey stepping in as Nicole. We can’t wait to watch and see!
