The Music of Smash has been out one week and has already secured a spot on the Billboard 200 album chart.
According to Billboard, the Smash soundtrack sold 39,000 copies in its first week, beating out Marilyn Manson’s Born Villain for the ninth spot on the list.
Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away took the top honors with 267,000 copies sold.
