Move over Smash, Bombshell is getting its own soundtrack.

While at the Winter Television Critics Association Convention Sunday, NBC announced the soundtrack for Bombshell – the show within the show – due Feb. 12 (and available for pre-order Jan. 8). According to Examiner, 22 songs from both seasons will make the cut. The new songs are: “At Your Feet,” “Cut, Print…Moving On,” “Public Relations,” “They Just Keep Moving The Line,” “The Right Regrets,” “(Let’s Start) Tomorrow Tonight,” “Our Little Secret” and “Hang The Moon.”

But that’s not all we learned at the TCA tour over the weekend. Here’s your Winter TCA roundup thanks to Examiner’s live blog:

Smash could get yet another musical apart from Bombshell and Hit List. Showrunner Josh Safran took a page out of Producer Steven Spielberg’s book by adding Hit List to the mix. Spielberg once suggested “What if each year we add another musical?” Maybe we’ll get a third musical in season 3?
– Ellis will make a comeback of sorts in episode four. Please don’t let it be a long return!
– Anjelica Huston (Eileen Rand) calls her character’s boyfriend, Nick, “nefarious.” Looks like there’s a good reason for his orange jumpsuit in the four-minute season 2 trailer.
– A clip from Hit List aired at TCA featuring Jeremy Jordan and Kat McPhee on a Rent-like stage. Is Karen jumping ship?
– There was more live lip-syncing in season 2, but since the cast shoots for 6-8 months, it’s too difficult to do for every number, McPhee revealed.
– Krysta Rodriguez, who will be playing Karen’s new roommate Ana, has joined Twitter thanks to Andy Mientus (Kyle). Follow her @KRYSTAR0DRIGUEZ.

Smash returns to NBC Feb. 5 at 9 p.m. EST with a two-hour season premiere and will continue airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST throughout the season. Catch up on the musical drama with the Smash season 1 DVD out Jan. 8. Find out how you can win a free copy of the DVD at 1 p.m. EST right here on Hypable.
