The latest episode of NBC’s Smash explored all of the things that can go wrong during a dress rehearsal, and how to turn things over quickly enough for the preview the day after.

The show opened up with quite a shocker as Ivy’s Marilyn costume was accidentally completely ripped off of her by J.F.K. Not to mention that Julia cited “14” other mistakes that had already happened in act 1.

However, the press seemed to really enjoy Ivy’s surprise nudity. Do you think Bombshell will suffer creatively from the decision to have Ivy go nude in the J.F.K. scene?

Kyle chose to side with Derek for his version of Hit List, perhaps alienating Kyle from Jimmy for a while. From what little we’ve seen, which version of Hit List would you have run with?

Karen and Ana seem to be forming a rivalry about who gets which songs in Hit List. Was it right for Ana to get angry at Karen for stating that “Derek will give me back the songs after he gets over himself”?

The article from the New York Times from Eileen’s almost boyfriend Richard was less than favorable to Bombshell, but more favorable to Hit List. What do you think of all of the reactions of the cast and crew of both shows to this article?

The shocker of the episode was when Ana talked to Jimmy’s old “friend” Adam. What sort of trouble do you think he’ll cause with Karen’s roommate? Also, Ivy seems to be ready for a relationship with Derek again. Yay or nay?

Bombshell opens up on Broadway next episode. What challenges do you see the Marilyn Monroe-centric show having?

It’s “Bombshell’s” opening night. As Ivy’s (Megan Hilty) nerves get the better of her, support comes from an unlikely source. Meanwhile, Tom (Christian Borle) and Julia (Debra Messing) look to their next project. “Bombshell’s” success may be in jeopardy as Eileen’s (Anjelica Huston) issues with Richard (guest star Jamey Sheridan) come to a head. Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan) finally opens up to Karen (Katharine McPhee) about his past, but is it too little too late? Jack Davenport, Krysta Rodriguez and Andy Mientus also star. Rosie O’Donnell, Bernadette Peters, Jesse L. Martin and Jamey Sheridan guest star.
