With Henry and Katrina now out of the picture, there’s room for a couple of new regulars on Sleepy Hollow season 3.

You’ll recognize one of the new series regulars as Joe Corbin, who made a brief appearance last year as a Wendigo that had to get saved by Ichabod and Abbie. Played by Zach Appleman, Corbin is of course the late Sheriff Corbin’s son and has now become just as involved in the supernatural world as Ichabod and Abbie. His promotion to a series regular definitely makes sense and we can’t wait to see more of him — if not for the plot, then at least for the eye candy.

The second additional series regular added for Sleepy Hollow season 3 is actually a completely new character. Daniel Reynolds, played by Lance Gross, is an FBI special agent and will be Abbie’s new boss in the series. Reynolds is described as “Harvard-educated” and arrives at Sleepy Hollow after training at Quantico — which is where Abbie almost went before the events of season 1 took place.

Clifton Cambell, the new showrunner, made a statement about Gross and Appleman’s promotions, saying, “Lance and Zach are both very talented and welcome additions to our Sleepy cast. There are rich stories to be told with these characters and we believe that fans will embrace these new — and quite mysterious — developments in the Sleepy Hollow world.”

We’re so excited to see new faces added onto the cast, and we’re so curious to what Reynolds and Zach will bring to the already rich storyline of Sleepy Hollow.
