Today we’ve gotten a look at another trailer for Sleepy Hollow season 2, and it looks like it’s going to be an epic one!

In the new trailer we have more glimpses of Henry, aka the Horseman of War, Ichabod, Abbie, Jenny and of course Katrina. This season it looks like Moloch is attempting to cross over into our world while Ichabod and Abby continue to protect the town of Sleepy Hollow from the likes of zombies, demons and Ichabod’s son. Sleepy Hollow: Season 2 Promo – Evil Takes Hold by dreadcentral

Despite last season ending in a cliffhanger that left Abbie in Purgatory and Ichabod in a wooden box in the ground, the season 2 trailer lets us know that they’ll both be back in each other’s good graces before too long. This shouldn’t be any surprise, though, since we knew that this would have to happen. We’re just interested to see how the two get out of their traps.

At the Sleepy Hollow Comic-Con panel, we learned a bunch of interesting things. Specifically, and what interests us the most, is that there’s going to be a new sheriff in town that’s going to make Ichabod and Abbie’s supernatural treks harder to pull off. That, combined with John Noble’s character stepping up his game in the evil department, is going to make for a very interesting second season.

Sleepy Hollow season 2 returns on September 22, at 9:00 p.m. eastern/ 8:00 p.m. central standard time.
