The new stills from Sleepy Hollow season 2 episode 5, “Weeping Lady,” tell us there’s a lot more of Katrina to be seen on Monday.

Last week on ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Ichabod and Abbie dealt with the legend that is the Pied Piper while also coming across Nicholas Hawley, the gent that deals in all things exotic as long as it gets him his money. While Ichabod and Abbie did manage to defeat the Pied Piper it seems Henry got his way in the end: Hawley sold the bone flute weapon the Piper used to a gentleman who ultimately gives it to Henry. He ends up grounding the bone and turning it into a “perfect” powder, but for what?

Meanwhile, Henry also meets with Irving at the psychiatric hospital where Irving learns that he signed over his soul to Henry in blood just a few days ago. What will Henry use Irving for, and will Irving get away? Those are all questions we hope get answered soon!

This week, the Weeping Lady arrives

There’s a multitude of urban myths, legends, and folklore to be explored on Sleepy Hollow and the show it making its way down that list one by one. This week, though, it’s the legend of the Weeping Lady.

The synopsis reads, “A woman from Ichabod Crane’s past comes to Sleepy Hollow in the form of an un-dead Weeping Lady, aiming to harm anyone in her path. Meanwhile, Katrina and Crane learn unsettling things about each other’s pasts, and Abbie has some unexpected flirtatious encounters in the all-new ‘The Weeping Lady’ episode of Sleepy Hollow.”

The stills from next week’s upcoming episode provide us insight into exactly who the Weeping Lady is, and how far back she and Ichabod go. Perhaps an old flame?
