Sleepy Hollow comes back strong this year with a brand new episode, “Paradise Lost,” where the team now has to figure out what to do next.

Last time on ‘Sleepy Hollow’

It was the ultimate battle between Moloch and the Witnesses, and things got a little intense. Okay, more than a little.

We learned last episode that using the sword of Methuselah comes with a price: Whoever uses the sword will have to pay with their soul. So the team decided it would be Captain Irving to take the helm, because his soul is already owned by Henry. Fighting a few monsters, they discovered that they were right, but in the end Captain Irving could not defeat Moloch and actually died instead. With no one to wield the sword, we thought that Ichabod, Abbie and Katrina were doomed, but lo and behold: Henry came around at the very last minute to save everyone and kill Moloch with the sword!

But this week things aren’t over quite yet

You’d think that taking out Moloch would mean the end of the show, but of course there’s yet another twist to be established. The synopsis for this episode reads:

“Reeling from the events of their standoff with Moloch, Ichabod and Abbie encounter an angel, Orion, that they believe can help them. Meanwhile, Katrina searches for the humanity in Abraham.”

An angel? We totally called it — although we did think it was going to end up being Hawley. Although Abbie’s quote, “If you can’t trust an angel then who can you trust,” has us questioning whether or not he’ll really be on their side. We’ll just have to wait and see!
