Sleepy Hollow‘s mid-season 3 finale ended on a cliffhanger that left us wondering where Abbie Mills has gone, and if she was alive. Tonight’s episode will continue where we left off, and prove to us whether we were right or wrong about her fate.
When Sleepy Hollow left us way back in November with our jaws dropped, we were wondering what would happen to Abbie Mills after she went inside a tree and suffered through a supernatural explosion that destroyed Pandora’s hide-out.
But all these months of agonizing torture and wondering are finally over, as Sleepy Hollow returns tonight at 8:00 p.m. on Fox.
We’ve already seen the episode and we can assure you that it is absolutely worth your while, especially if you’ve fallen out of love with the show since the second season. Here are just a few things we can tell you about what you can expect tonight:
- Ichabod gets hotter. You might be asking yourself how, but tonight’s opening scene will show us a side of Ichabod we have never seen before, and we are so turned on by it.
- New allies, old enemies. By the end of the episode tonight (actually, by the middle of it) we will have a new ally to help Ichabod, Jenny and Joe in their war against evil. But worry not, they don’t replace Abbie! Meanwhile, we still have plenty of old enemies that we’ve met before entering this battle, and things aren’t over yet with Pandora.
- Hope reigns strong. Everyone who’s been scared about Abbie’s fate can rest easy as the characters remain hopeful for her well-being. No one is acting like she’s just gone forever, so you can all breathe a bit easier now!
As we return to Sleepy Hollow‘s third season, we can legitimately tell you this has been one of our favorite episodes of the series and we can’t wait for you to check it out!
