Sleepy Hollow season 3, episode 7 will explore what happens after Jenny is infected by yet another supernatural artifact — and Ichabod and Abbie are still after Pandora.

Last week on ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Ichabod and Abbie were finally able to find Pandora’s lair, but only after dealing with a supernatural monster that was comprised of hundreds of bugs that can sting people and make them paranoid. Turns out that the monster’s hive was also where the lair was located, and once they were able to destroy it they discovered that Pandora’s giant evil tree was done growing.

Unable to stop her, Ichabod and Abbie watched as Pandora was able to walk into the tree. Ichabod tried to follow but the entrance closed as soon as Pandora was through. Where does that tree lead? We’re pretty sure it’s the underworld.

Meanwhile, Jenny and Joe were able to find out how the shard opens after finding the kingpin of the smuggling ring, who was actually the one to open the shard. After he opened it, though, Jenny was able to take it from him — with some serious consequences. After she grabbed the gem that was inside the shard it sunk into her palm and at the end of the episode we saw her react to it — red veins and all.

This week, Jenny seeks help

Ichabod and Abbie are, of course, going to try and figure out where Pandora went so they can save Sleepy Hollow from her and her antics, but while that’s happening we’re also going to find out what this shard is doing to Jenny and exactly how to stop it.

The synopsis for the episode reads, “When Reynolds heads to D.C. to discuss developments in the Nevins case, Abbie is left in command. Jenny and Joe deal with unexpected consequences as a result of stealing the shard, which leaves both the lives of the heroes and Abbie’s career in great peril. Meanwhile, a new, more dangerous evil force is revealed.”

We’ve also got a couple of stills from the episode.
