A brand new clip from Skyfall introduces Ben Whishaw as Q, the beloved character we’ve known as John Cleese, as the next James Bond installment is now less than a month away.
The clip, entitled “Quartermaster,” introduces Ben Whishaw (Cloud Atlas) as a much younger Q, who can be seen here having a discussion with James Bond (Daniel Craig) in a museum of some sort. Take a look below.
The clip arrives as Skyfall prepares to hit theaters in certain international countries this Friday, October 26. Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty), Skyfall sees Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) tested as her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
With the embargo on Skyfall recently lifted, reviews for the film have swarmed the web over the past several days. The good news: it’s currently sitting at a hefty 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, as it appears Bond truly is back after a lackluster showing in Quantum of Solace.
