Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are back at it with a new outrageous, horror comedy called Slaughterhouse Rulez. Check out the trailer!

A brand new trailer has been released for the film Slaughterhouse Rulez, starring the fantastic Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Pegg and Frost have worked together on several occasions, since their days starring in the series Spaced to their work on the well-loved Cornetto Trilogy. And while this new film doesn’t include their usual third partner in crime, Edgar Wright, Slaughterhouse Rulez looks like the fun, over-the-top horror comedy that we’ve come to expect from Pegg and Frost.

The story centers around an English boarding school that is seemingly plagued by an onslaught of monster attacks. Ultimately, the teachers, students, and a teacher/drug dealer, must band together to fight the creatures and stay alive.

Michael Sheen and Asa Butterfield are also joining in on the monster hunting fun, and the movie is set to be directed by Crispian Mills (Fantastic Fear of Everything).

As with other Pegg and Frost movies, it seems that this movie is winking to other iconic franchises with hints of Stranger Things vibes, maybe some Harry Potter vibes, and classic, and of course nods to classic, black-and-white monster movies. We can’t wait to see what fun will be waiting for us in this movie, but with a cast like this one, you know it’s going to be a can’t-miss film.

Slaughterhouse Rulez will release on Halloween in the U.K. There’s no official release date for other countries just yet, unfortunately, but we can hope it makes its way to other countries soon!
