There’s a little more drama in Shondaland as The Catch loses Jennifer Schurr as executive producer.

The highly anticipated drama, to appear mid-season on ABC, is facing some big changes behind the scenes. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer Schurr has decided to step down as the show’s executive producer because of “creative differences.” With Schurr, writer Josh Reims is also leaving The Catch.

Recently Rhimes had praised Schurr saying that, “Jennifer Schuur is very good at what she’s doing. She is running along. We are doing what we do, which is helping the bird fly and holding the baby a lot.”

It’s believed that a Shondaland veteran, Allan Heinberg, is being approached to take over the spot. Whatever the case, we hope that the situation is resolved quickly so that the series stays on track.

This shakeup follows several of the stars being replaced after The Catch was ordered by ABC. Damon Dayoub (NCIS) was replaced by Peter Krause (Parenthood) to play Kieran, the con-man. And Bethany Joy Lenz (One Tree Hill) was replaced by Sonya Wagler (Lost) to play Zoe, the wife of Kieran.
