Ships this week are lead by Bellarke, ScarlettBeauty, Steroline, and more. Every week, ships, A.K.A. relationships, are highlighted on our favorite TV shows. Which were your favorite partners and pairings this week?

Did your favorite ship sail this week, did a new one launch, or did yours sadly sink? If you love shipping, you know the drama that shipping wars bring. Your ships don’t have to be canon for you to love them, and that’s half the fun.

Remember, if we didn’t include your favorite, give a suggestion to the writer who usually covers your fandom in the recap discussion or in the comments below.

‘Girls’ – All Aboard Marnie & Desi

Passengers: Marnie and Desi

Sunset Cruise: At the start of this week’s episode, it looks like Marnie and Desi are destined to break up when finances start to form a wedge between them. But instead of making a move towards the door, Desi puts a ring on it.

Ship Status: All hands on deck, all hands on deck, this is not a drill! The cruise is leaving port right now on an unchartered voyage. Lifeboats are standing by.

‘Looking’ – All Aboard Patrick & Kevin

Passengers: Patrick and Kevin

Sunset Cruise: Alright, there is no denying it now, Kevin and Patrick are not only together, they are in it for more than a fling. Patrick, for the first time in his life, drops the “L” bomb, which much to his surprise, Kevin reciprocates.

Ship Status: Cue up that 1970’s music, because The Love Boat has officially left the harbor all engines gunning. It just took on extra fuel and provisions for a long-term voyage. Join us on the lido deck to celebrate and watch the fireworks.

‘The Walking Dead’ – All Aboard Aaron & Eric

Passengers: Aaron and Eric

Sunset Cruise: After returning safely to the ASZ, Araon and Eric would rather spend a quiet night at home together than attend the neighborhood welcome party. In the zombie apocalypse, it’s nice to know that two people seem to have found a healthy relationship not burdened by tons of emotional baggage. It’s actually possible to spend a quiet night at home without someone on guard duty at the door.

Ship Status: Call this one a steady and confident cruise. These two occasionally weigh anchor to bring new friends to port, and then they peacefully set sail again.

On page 2: ‘The 100,’ ‘Once Upon a Time,’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

‘The 100’ – All Aboard Bellarke

Passengers: Bellamy and Clarke

Sunset Cruise: The 100 is not big on romance, and its spectacular season finale did not actually feature any significant shipping moments – unless, of course, you’re a Bellarke fan who has been thirsting to see your ship finally reunite.

Bellarke shippers knew that there wasn’t much hope for a kiss this season (and if Bellamy and Clarke ever get together, the last thing we’d want would be for the writers to rush it), but surely there could be another hug? Well, at the start of the episode, everyone hugged but Bellamy and Clarke. Luckily, we were just being set up for something even better: when Clarke had to pull the lever and kill the Mountain Men in order to save her people, Bellamy took her hand and shared the burden with her.

Ship Status: The ship has all sorts of damage to the hull from external forces, but somehow it’s trying to launch. Right now she’s flying the flag “If you need forgiveness, I’ll give that to you.” while awaiting repairs and trying just to get off the sandbar it seems to be wedged on.

‘Once Upon a Time’ – All Aboard ScarlettBeauty

Passengers: Will and Belle

Sunset Cruise: As Belle closes up Gold’s shop for the night, it turns out that she is not alone with the trinkets. Gold creepily watches Belle merrily carry on without him through the windows, he is hit with another surprise as Will steps into the frame and kisses Mrs. Gold.

Ship Status: Mayday, Mayday, Mayday! Sound the alarm! Man the lifeboats! As happy as we were to see a new ship sail, there are submarines in the waters ready to torpedo this one to smithereens. Rumbelle is not gone yet and the captain will be aiming everything he’s got at all other vessels.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ – All Aboard Maggie & Ethan

Passengers: Aria and Ezra

Sunset Cruise: Maggie may be happy with her independence, but the creators of Grey’s Anatomy don’t want their new lead to be single for much longer. After a push from Callie, Maggie tosses her hat into the polluted world of dating another doctor, Ethan.

Ship Status: This is like a never ending cruise on a medical mission trip on a clunky steamer with hammocks for beds. This cruise was a good idea why exactly?

On page 3: ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Revenge,’ and ‘Glee’

‘The Vampire Diaries’ – All Aboard Steroline

Passengers: Stefan and Caroline

Sunset Cruise: At the end of this week’s episode both Stefan and Caroline found themselves without their humanity. It’s an exciting twist of events, bringing these two characters closer than they’ve ever been, and we can’t wait to see how they turn out next week!

Ship Status: We just love these kids, it’s that reliable ship that hits rough waters but just keeps coming through. You just kind of smile a break out the champagne when these two are around.

‘Revenge’ – All Aboard Emily & Ben

Passengers: Emily and Ben

Sunset Cruise: After Emily and Ben’s long night together, Jack decides it’s the perfect time to confess his love to her. In the final moments of the episode he tells Emily, “I have one certainty in my life, and it’s how I feel about you, It’s always been you.” Unfortunately, Emily responds with, “I can’t, Jack. I’m sorry.”

Ship Status: Boom! That sound you hear is the ship called endgame hitting an old pile of rocks, and the screams of shippers watching it go down. Someone play taps please. It wasn’t supposed to end this way.

‘Glee’ – All Aboard St. Berry

Passengers: Jesse and Rachel

Sunset Cruise: Jesse St James, with all his melodrama, has loved Rachel Berry since season 1, and every reappearance of the character over the years has shown Jesse to be growing out of his ridiculousness – just like Rachel did – while admiring and supporting her from afar. Despite a whole season of weird, casual Samchel getting us worried, Jesse and Rachel picked up right where they left off: they sang, they talked, they teased, they promised, they even sealed it with a shy little kiss.

Ship Status: Approaching destination: paradise. Finn might have been her soulmate, but Jesse is now the perfect “endgame” match for Rachel, and it’s clear that the characters feel it too. They know they’re right for each other and they aren’t wasting any time. Rachel’s life is getting back on track and Jesse looks like her happily ever after.
