Last week we launched a new weekly feature. Our TV writers are going to highlight some of the best shipping moments from their fandoms. They don’t necessarily have to be hardcore canon (let’s face it, canon takes half the fun out of shipping), but they are there if you read between the lines for fans that love that ship.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ – All Aboard Delena
Sunset Cruise: After being torn apart by Katherine, and after having viruses injected into their bloodstream that made them want to kill each other, Damon and Elena finally got together again. How could anyone turn down an offer like Damon’s? No subtext here; the man wants what he wants.
Ship Status: Man the fire-hoses, cause it just got hot in here! Granted they broke up after the great sex, but the smart money says that doesn’t last. Get a cocktail on the Lido deck, these two will definitely be back.

Sunset Cruise: Robin volunteers his services to help Regina as repayment for saving his son. Although Regina accepts his companionship, she warns him not to get in her way. The budding trust between a thief with honor and a queen with a soft spot for children!
Ship Status: Sitting on the dock of the bay…(sing it Otis)…not really sailing yet, but slowly taking on supplies while music plays.

‘The Originals’ – All Aboard Camcel
Sunset Cruise: After some fake flirting, and then some real flirting, Cami and Marcel finally got it on! Months of tension and fighting with vampires is enough to drive anyone mad. They both got to unwind. Finally!
Ship Status: Just left the port and sailing on what looks like smooth waters! Let’s hope nothing jeopardizes this ship on its maiden voyage!
