ABC and Marvel have made much fanfare over the launch of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s – the Avengers TV show produced by Joss Whedon – social media accounts, which launched yesterday.
The Twitter account (@ABC_SHIELD) was very busy with retweets from the S.H.I.E.L.D. set on Wednesday. The most talkative person on scene was Ryan Penagos, who is the executive editorial director of Marvel.com:

Joss Whedon – who directed 2012’s The Avengers film – is directing the pilot episode and will serve as producer for the rest of the series. ABC is behind the project. A premiere date, presumably in the fall, has not been set yet. You can like S.H.I.E.L.D. on Facebook.
