Hollywood’s gender-swapped She’s All That remake has officially found its leading lady in TikTok star, Addison Rae Easterling.

Aptly titled He’s All That, the upcoming She’s All That remake turns the hit 90s romcom on its head by centering the story on a popular influencer who makes it her mission to transform a nerdy boy into the next prom king.

Easterling will take on the role of the popular influencer– the film’s reimagined take on Zackary Siler, the popular jock played by Freddie Prinze Jr., in the 1999 teen comedy. Currently, there’s no word yet with regards to who will join Easterling in playing the nerdy jock.

Shortly after news broke, Easterling took to Instagram to share the good news with her 27.4 million followers.

“My dreams are coming true!!! I’m so excited to finally share the news that I am getting the opportunity to make my acting debut in HE’S ALL THAT which is a remake of one of my all time favorite movies, SHE’S ALL THAT,” wrote the TikTok star via Instagram, on Friday (September 11). “I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me and none of it would have ever happened without every single one of you.”

Behind the camera, He’s All That finds original She’s All That scribe, R. Lee Fleming, returning to pen the script for the remake. Others also set to return include original She’s All That producers Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay.

Meanwhile, Mark Waters, whose previous credits include helming the hit teen comedies Mean Girls and Freaky Friday, will serve as director on the project.

Currently, there’s no word with regards to when we might expect to see the She’s All That remake hit the big screen.
