Still no release date for Sherlock series 3, but today the BBC unveiled three great behind-the-scenes photos from shooting.

Feast your eyes:

The three episodes in Sherlock series 3, each running at roughly 90 minutes, took months to film but wrapped in recent weeks. With filming now out of the way all eyes turn to the BBC unveiling the show’s premiere date.

As noted by Hypable reader Macagascar, a recent article in Entertainment Weekly noted that series 3 will be premiere in January. That start date has not been confirmed. The magazine also made mention of a bonus Sherlock Christmas special but that has not been confirmed by the BBC yet:

Do you think the Sherlock Christmas Special is legitimate, or did Entertainment Weekly slip up? We’ll be sure to share any official details as soon as they’re announced by the BBC, who unfortunately is taking their time with making the release date announcement.
