It’s been a long wait for American fans of Sherlock, but the second series première will finally hit U.S. screens – catch “A Scandal In Belgravia” tonight!

If you’re a part of the one percent of American “Sherlockians” that haven’t already watched the second series through other means, you can watch the first episode when it airs on PBS later this evening.

Ahead of the broadcast, you can read the official synopsis for both Sherlock series 2 and “A Scandal In Belgravia” below.

Sherlock, the world’s foremost consulting detective (Benedict Cumberbatch, War Horse, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and the beleaguered Dr. John Watson (Martin Freeman, The Hobbit, The Office UK) stalk again in three thrilling new episodes.

Picking up from season 1’s gripping cliff-hanger, the whip-smart dominatrix Irene Adler (Lara Pulver, True Blood) takes on Sherlock in a game he is ill-prepared to fight…love.

If that hasn’t got you reaching for your magnifying glass and deerstalker, you can also watch the PBS Masterpiece trailer for the series below.

Watch “A Scandal In Belgravia” on PBS at 9 p.m. ET tonight, and catch the following two episodes at the same time on consecutive Sundays.
