The new trailer for Shazam! is even funnier than the first. Check it out here! 

The second trailer for the superhero movie is definitely punching up the jokes, even explicitly stating that it’s “not so serious.” This is probably a play on the Joker’s famous tag line, from one of DC’s grittiest properties, The Dark Knight.

Hilarious highlights from the trailer include Zachary Levi’s hero (who’s actually a child in a grown man’s body) asking a cashier to point him toward their “finest beer,” and Billy Batson and Freddie planning out what their lair should be like.

Although Shazam! will definitely be a different kind of DCEU movie, going away from the classic grit, it will have more than just comedy to offer. This trailer also shows way more scenes of the hero in action, putting his incredible power to use. It looks like Shazam! will have something for every superhero movie fan.

Aquaman broke all the DC records in terms of box office numbers, but Shazam! promises an entertainment value that could give the oceanic hero a run for his money. We’ll see when the movie premieres on April 5!
