Shameless season 4 premieres this Sunday on Showtime, but if you can’t wait until then you can watch episode 1 online for free.
The cable channel released Shameless season 4, episode 1 on YouTube Monday morning. The episode’s synopsis reads, “Frank’s reappearance throws the Gallagher clan for a loop.”

Shameless season 4 airs Sundays on Showtime beginning January 12 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific. Like past seasons, 2014’s batch has twelve episodes. It stars William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Allen White, Cameron Monaghan, and Emma Kenney.
Notably, actor Justin Chatwin will not be returning this year as a series regular in his role as Jimmy, but the showrunner has hinted that he may be back for an episode or two. The character died in season 3 but a death scene hasn’t been seen.
