‘Shadowhunters’ season 3 Malec
Let’s break this clip down a bit, shall we? The season 2 finale of Shadowhunters reunited our boys after a tumultuous season. When we pick up in season 3, not everything is smooth sailing for the two. After all, Alec is still the leader of the New York Institute and Magnus is still a Downworlder.
But even though the world they live remains divided, at least this couple appears to be sticking together. The trailer does contain a pretty big ask – How much would you sacrifice for the one you love? What will Magus and Alec be willing to give up this season for their relationship?
That means one thing – brace yourselves, Malec shippers. Brace. Yourselves.

‘Shadowhunters’ season 3 Clace
Lies! Lies will keep us together! Think of me babe whenever someone corners you and asks you about being in the presence of Raziel.
I joke, of course, but this is something that Clary and Jace will need to deal with as season 3 kicks off. Who wouldn’t be interested in what happened in Idris at Lake Lyn? And Alec, understandably, is going to be the most invested in uncovering the truth.
After all, his parabatai rune disappeared. Something happened to Jace that night and he wants answers. Clary and Jace are going to have to get their story straight. But another minor detail might get in the way of them escaping the truth.
The end of season 2 saw him dealing with the more physical complications. And it looks like season 3 is no different. Jace still appears to be on edge, flinching when someone comes up behind him, even confessing to Clary that he is not alright.
Evident by the flashback in the trailer, we aren’t quite done with Jonathan yet. Whether he actually returns is one thing. But the fallout from his death is definitely looming over this season.
With Clary carrying the responsibility of Jace’s life, how far will she go to save him yet again? Does he even want to be saved?
