Shadowhunters season 3 is tackling a Greater Demon the likes of which the group has never encountered. But that is not all that is on their plate. While allegiances, infighting, and Seelie magic permeate nearly every aspect of these characters lives, there is one thing most of them are in control of — dating.
As “The Powers That Be” demonstrated, the dating world comes with its own set of problems. Jace, Clary, Simon, and Maia are testing the waters as vampires, werewolves, and Shadowhunters define their “new normal.” But what about the actors? Do they have any sound advice?

While this is all fun and games, the group definitely hits on some of the more awkward elements the gang faced in season 3, episode 2.
As Javier Muñoz mentioned in his interview with Hypable, what sets season 3 apart from the prior two is the writing. There is room to tell the deeper, more, for better lack of a word, mundane, stories. The characters are going to develop in a way that tests not only their supernatural selves, but their character growth as well.
